Works on iPhone, not Apple TV

I have had this app on my iPhone and Apple TV for a few months. It worked fine and there was a good selection of movies, music and even Pakistani dramas- but all of a sudden the app on my Apple TV stopped working. Its been over one month and it crashes every time I try to use it.
I have emailed support multiple times and been told there is an update, but its still not working. I dont want to pay for the subscription if I can only use it on my phone.
